The always amusing Haye vs Fury came together now for their first official david-haye-tyson-fury-press-20130711-124613-301press conference to declare their September 28th fight in Manchester, England.

Fury, consistently the character, hammed it up for the cameras and behaved like a youngster while Haye was the consummate professional and decidedly quiet compared to that which we've seen from in pasat years.

With reach and height in his own favor, he believe he will prevail over the expert Haye.

Fury, who's undefeated, previously agreed to terms with Haye after Haye's fight with Manuel Charr on June 29 was called off after the British fighter suffered a hand injury.

When he confronts fellow Brit Tyson Fury at the Manchester Arena in England British heavyweight David Haye will make his return to the ring on September 28.

Haye bounced back with a fifthround TKO win over British journeyman Dereck Chisora in July 2012. Haye was scheduled to face Manuel Charr on June 29 this year in Manchester but withdrew from the fight, claiming a left hand injury. Fury also defeat Chisora back in July 2011, by unanimous decision. Fury last fought in April this year, knocking out American Steve Cunningham in the seventh round in New York. That Haye will win by KO, TKO or disqualification is the 1/2 favorite. Fury winning via that path is 4/1.

Haye is now 2/7 to win at Ladbrokes with Fury at 11/4. Since the fight was declared in July the two have been participating in a war of words. Neither Haye nor Fury is fearful to trash talk.

Haye (26-2, 24 KOs) will be at a gigantic size disadvantage as he is 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, and Fury (21-0, 15 KOs) is 6-9, 254. Haye won the WBA heavyweight title in November 2009, upsetting favored Nikolai Valuev by majority decision in Germany. That was just the former cruiserweight champion Haye's third fight at heavyweight. He gave up almost a foot in height and 100 pounds to Valuev, largest and the tallest heavyweight champ in boxing history. Thus facing Fury won't be anything new for him.

Haye followed that win with a ninthround TKO victory over John Ruiz in April 2013 in Manchester and then a thirdround TKO victory against Audley Harrison in November that year. In July 2011, Haye was trying to unify the heavyweight division but was beaten soundly by present heavyweight winner Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on points. Klitschko added Haye's WBA belt to the IBF and WBO straps he already held. It absolutely was Haye's first defeat since Carl Thompson beat him at cruiserweight in 2004 and his first loss for a heavyweight.
